Plug in a USB drive and click through. Nothing on your computer is touched until your backup has been checked.

Back up
Ferry finds your own files — not Windows' — encrypts them with your password, copies them to the USB and checks every one.

Install Ubuntu
The same USB now starts the Ubuntu installer. Restart from it and install, as the installer guides you.

Restore
Open the USB in Ubuntu and double-click Restore with Ferry. Enter your password; your computer comes back.

A cloud copy, in case the USB goes missing
Keep a second encrypted copy in Ferry's cloud — free for now, up to 50 GB, deleted after 30 days.

We can't read your files
Your password never leaves your computer. Not even Ferry can open your backup.
